Ladies of Liberty: The Women and Recipes that Shaped a Town. Below you will find adventures in cooking from recipes from Clay County 1880-early 1900s. The book is due out in early 2016 and will not only include the recipes, it will feature the struggles and methods of cooking in the late 19th century and profiles of the women who made them. This is a labor of love (and hunger.)
Be sure to keep an eye out for the book at the end of January. Here is the link to sign up for more information and updates on date available.
